OUR HISTORY
About Eta Xi Eta Christian Sorority, Inc. Eta Xi Eta was created to bring ladies and young ladies together. To mentor one another and young ladies. We have an older group from ages 18 and up and we also have a group of young ladies called Girls With Grace, between the ages of 10-17. We are committed to servicing these ladies, inviting them to become part of our sisterhood, showing them what sorority life is about and teaching them how to become young ladies of excellence.
Eta Xi Eta’s vision came about on April 24th, 2023 by God. Dr. Gloria Loyd spoke with several women about what they wanted from a Christian sisterhood and sorority. She went home and prayed about it and Dr. Gloria Loyd founded Eta Xi Eta Christian Sorority, Inc on June 8, 2023 under the direction of God.
We believe solely in what the word of God teaches us. We are Fearfully and Wonderfully made. (Psalms 139:14). We are dedicated to walking in God’s purpose for our lives.
Eta Xi Eta Christian Sorority, Inc invites you to join us on a journey filled with love, bonding, service-hood and growth, together as sisters.
VISION STATEMENT
To cultivate a strong, faith-driven sisterhood that empowers women and bridges generational and cultural gaps within the community through love, service, and unity.
MISSION STATEMENT
We the women of Eta Xi Eta Christian Sorority, Inc. mission is to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, strength and our neighbor as ourselves. (Matthew 22:37-39) We the women of Eta Xi Eta Christian Sorority, Inc. are women at work as Proverbs 31 women. We are Strong, Resilient, and Serving in Excellence. Women who put God’s wisdom into practice daily, throughout our Eta Xi Eta sisterhood reflecting God’s character of Discipleship as we mentor and serve our community.
PURPOSE
As Eta Xi Eta women, we boldly encourage others to draw closer to Jesus, reflecting His light through our words, actions, and daily walk. We choose to live as God created us—authentically and unapologetically—not according to the expectations of others. We will grow stronger, wiser, and more fierce in our faith each day. Our hearts will continually seek God as we fall deeper in love with Him. ETA XI ETA!
Candidacy for membership into Eta Xi Eta Christian Sorority, Incorporated® is open to women of high ethical standards who are motivated and able to promote and extend the policies and programs of the organization. Membership is by invitation. Please see our calendar for upcoming events and feel free to join us at our public events and fundraisers.
